Teashake or Tea Milkshake recipes

Introducing four delicious Teashake recipes, otherwise known as a Tea Milkshake:

All you need is:

  • Caramel Flavoured Black Tea Blend
  • Milk (we use oat milk so it is suitable for vegetarians and vegans)
  • Banana slices (to sweeten)
  • Ice cubes
  • Ice cream (we use vegan vanilla glace)

What to do:

  1. Brew the tea at triple strength.
  2. Place a few banana slices at the bottom of the blender to sweeten.
  3. Add vanilla ice cream of choice,
  4. Top up with ice cubes (as many as you can fit).
  5. Pour the tea to the half way measure.
  6. Top up with your choice of milk.
  7. Blend until all ingredients are mixed well.
  8. Pour into a glass, add ice cubes as desired and enjoy!

Super Easy Matcha Teashake:

  • 1 tablespoon Matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Milk of choice
  • Handful of ice

What to do:

  1. Place a large juice glass or jar in the freezer for as long as possible.
  2. In a blender, blend the matcha, honey, milk and ice until smooth.
  3. Serve in the chilled glass.

Chai Tea:

  • Chai Spice Premium Tea
  • Milk of choice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Coffee ice cream or vanilla
  • Ground nutmeg and whipped cream for garnish
  • OPTIONAL: A splash of Bailey’s Irish Cream to make it a ‘hard teashake’.

What to do:

  1. Prepare tea by heating milk over medium heat.
  2. Add cinnamon and tea and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to steep for five more minutes before removing cinnamon and straining tea leaves.
  4. Allow to cool for 20 minutes, then add tea and ice cream (and Bailey’s if you fancy) to a blender and pulse until well combined. If too thin, add more ice cream or ice to the mixture.
  5. Serve topped with whipped cream and ground nutmeg. Enjoy!

Earl Grey aka London Fog Teashake:

  • 2 Tbsp of Earl Grey

  2. Transfer to a blender and add the ice cream; blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into glasses, serve and enjoy!
