A G&T, without the tonic and instead made using chai tea gives a unique and flavourful twist on the classic cocktail. The result is spicy and aromatic with notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger from the chai. The gin is the base layer to the chai and the honeyed pineapple and the dry sherry cuts through the richness.
It’s a combination of sweet, dry and sour. A unique drink for a unique month of celebrations!
- 50ml Gin of choice
- 15ml Fino Sherry
- 15ml Pineapple juice
- 15ml cooled Chai tea
- 15ml Honey syrup (3 water to 1 part honey)
- Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Enjoy the G&T or should we say G&Tea!
