Scented black tea with sweet vanilla aroma of lotus flowers. The black tea is scented using lotus flower stamens. Rose petals are added for colourful effect.

The Chinese first began creating scented teas during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) when Lotus Tea especially was hugely valued. It is mentioned in the Book of Tea of the period Cha Pu as being special and distinct from all other scented teas.
