Tightly rolled pearls of black tea. Aromatic and slightly smoky. A mild taste yet full-bodied, well suited to accompany traditional Afternoon Tea. Fit for a Queen or a King.

Gunpowder tea gets its name from the tight rolling of the leaves to resemble pellets but in this version they resemble pearls.

As they infuse, the pearls unfurl and release their exquisite flavour. Aromatic and very slightly smoky, with body but yet still mild.

This delightful black gunpowder tea can be enjoyed at any time of the day but is especially suited as an accompaniment to savoury sandwiches or scones with clotted cream and jam. Enjoyed with or without milk.
