Only aged tea that comes from China's, Yunnan province can be called Pu-Erh. Made in the same way as green tea, the leaves are then dampened or steamed, then left to age like a fine wine, in humid but controlled conditions. The result is a dark rich liquor with earthy or woody flavours.

Started by Covent Garden pioneer Christina Smith, the business is now run by her niece and nephew and remains an independent family business to this day.
