East meets West across the steppes. A Russia inspired black blend reflecting the history of tea transport along ancient caravan routes. With a touch of Lapsang and a hint of Earl Grey.

A fine blend of China, Oolong and India teas with some smokiness and a hint of bergamot.

This blend gets its name from the historic camel caravans which transported teas from Chinese traders across the vast Russian steppes.

It is said that the light smokiness of this tea originally came from the campfires built along the caravan route though nowadays it comes from the blending of smoky Lapsang with the other leaves.
